Initially this site was designed for the MFUfic Mailing List,but we will happily accept all fiction.  There are a couple of way to have your story listed here: We can DIRECTLINK or ARCHIVE.

Direct link: simply means that we link to the story you have placed on your own web pages or another archive. It also means that it wont be held on this server so we wont have a back up.

Archived: Means that we will create a page for your story in simple text format and a copy is kept by the Archivist for all future reference.

** Please note all files are stored in basic HTML.  If you provide the pages you may format them to your own specifications and include some graphics.  If the story is sent to us in text, we will convert them to the basic standard already on this service.  Please do not submit stories in file formats other than HTML, HTM or Text.  All graphics to be embedded into the text should be sent as gifs or jpegs.  We cannot accept Bitmaps.**

All submission go via Admin.

The following information is requested by not necessary, however, an email addy and basic info, including episode spoilers are appreciated by the reader.  The information will be placed at the top of the story under the “Title” and will be marked as “Authors Notes.”

Please include the following details:

Title: The name you have given to your story.

Author: The name you have chosen to be known by in the fandom.

Email: Your email address here.

Rating: G, PG, R, AU, Explicit, angst/hc, etc.

Pairings: If the story is slash please provide the pairings, if not please label it clearly as Gen.

Classification: Optional.  Adventure, PWP, Death, Hc/Angst, First Time, Established Relationship etc.

Date: The date the story was written

Previously published?: If you wish to web publish a story that has appeared in a zine, please note which zine your story appeared in, and don’t forget to let the publisher know.

Universe: Will there be more stories in this universe? If yes, you may like to give the series a name and a working idea of how many chapters you will be doing.

Website address: We can link direct to your URL as requested.

Link to: Direct link to the story if posted to another website.

Other Archive Rules:
Whilst The Lair staff have the right to spell check, format to our standard in HTML and add our links, we cannot guarantee the correctness of any text sent.  Therefore we suggest you make sure what is in print is what you want.  We are however happy to make amendments at any stage, but priority goes to stories queued to be posted.

If you choose to archive your story by link and said link fails to work for two weeks from the time we first become aware of the problem we will delete the link and email the author direct.
